2010 Brings More to Farmington
PROGRAMS AND FEATURES INCLUDE:
Farmington goes Green. Virtually all the lights in our building have now been changed to florescent bulbs. Now only is this good for the enviroment but it is expected to save the club $1,700 over the expected lifetime of the bulbs.
YOUTH PROGRAMS:
- “Crafty Mondays” - Sessions for children age 6-9 and 10-14. Cost will be $18.00 per child for 6 weeks of class.
- Scuba Class– Children 10 and older. June 9 in the evening for classroom. In the pool June 12 & 13 staring at 8 am. This class will prepare you for your checkout dive and certification. $179
- High School Tennis Academy - Program designed to improve skills and conditioning of high school age youth. Participation open to FBTC members and eligible non-members.
- Ping Pong – A poolside Ping Pong table will be added this summer.
ADULT PROGRAMS:
- Scuba Class – Open to youth and adults age 10 and older. June 9 in the evening for classroom. In the pool June 12 & 13 staring at 8 am. This class will prepare you for your checkout dive and certification. $179.
- Stroke Clinic - Adult clinic held Monday from 6:00 – 7:00pm. Session cost will be $25.00.
- Master Swim class - Great for Training for a Triathlon! Class meets Wednesday from 6-7 pm. Cost will be $25.00.
- Aqua Aerobic /Stretch class - Saturday from 8:30 - 10:00 am. Session cost will be $25.00.
- Sunday Mixed Doubles Social League - Offered weekly on Sundays from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. No charge.
- Cardio Tennis - Offered on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 pm and Saturdays 10:30 am - noon.
- Men’s Fall Tennis League - Saturdays from 8:30-10:30 am beginning Sep 4th and running through Oct 4th. Cost will be $25.00 for the season.
